Sofia Almeida is Acme's Category Manager for Fresh, covering all fresh categories since a colleague left in January 2024, and she identified herself as the only person at Acme who knows the fresh categories, which she framed as a real project risk. Her recurring expressed priorities are the shelf-life data problem and proper handling of her personal data. 1–4
On the shelf-life problem, she said in March 2024 that the shelf-life field in the product master is populated for maybe half the range, that nobody has owned it since it was set up, and that when a store orders, nothing in the process knows whether the item has three days or three weeks left. In September 2025 she put on the record that she was still doing fresh ordering by hand in a spreadsheet, the same way as when she first met Marco, and that a two-month email conversation about her categories had run without her included. 5–19
On proposals and responses: in December 2025 she agreed to log her manual overrides rather than making them silently, for six weeks, after which she would tell the team whether she was still overriding. In November 2025 she asked for the removal of her surgery note from the handover pack; Ana Duarte confirmed v4 was issued without the line, but the old version remained in document history, which Ana could not delete herself and had raised with IT. In March 2026 Sofia reported that Marco's promised list of other locations where the note appears had not been delivered and that the document-history point was still open as of their last conversation in November. In April 2026 she challenged the Q1 dairy figure, asking whether the dairy baseline included the yoghurt range moved between categories in November, and asked whether extract-derived tonnage had ever been put next to till data for the same three months before board presentation. 20–26, 4, 27–30
Recommendation: before the next conversation, close the two outstanding personal-data items — Marco's list of other locations where the surgery note appears and the document-history deletion — and bring a concrete answer on the shelf-life field, since these are her standing, evidenced asks. Marco, Following the call yesterday. Putting this in writing so it is not just a comment in a meeting. The handover pack Acme-fresh-handover-v3, page 4, under key stakeholders, records against my name: "out October to November, surgery". I would like that removed. I said it in the demo in March 2024 because it was relevant to the project timeline. It was not said so that it could be copied into a document and given to consultants I have never met, eighteen months later. What I do want kept is that I am the only person at Acme who knows the fresh categories, because that is a real project risk and it is the reason I said anything at all. Please confirm when it is done, and tell me where else it appears. You said on the call that it would be in a few places.Open source

Nadia - the produce number looks right to me. Dairy looks too good. Can you check whether the dairy baseline includes the yoghurt range, because we moved that between categories in November and I think it may be counted in one period and not the other. Separately. You say the tonnage comes off the extract totals. Has anyone put those next to the till numbers for the same three months? I am not saying they are wrong. I am saying I do not think anyone has looked, and we are about to put this in front of the board.Open source
