Review responsibilities, shared decisions and open handoffs with this colleague.
Tomas Lindholm introduced himself as RELEX's solution architect on Acme, doing the part where they find out whether what Marco promised is possible (2024-04-18 due diligence). In the 2024-05-02 assessment email he wrote up four conclusions: ECC 6.0 fine with no concerns about the nightly batch for daily replenishment; DC-2 logged as a named risk (out-of-support middleware, intermittent failure, silent mode) with monitoring designed around it from day one; master data needing a remediation workstream owned on Priya Nair's side with case pack quantity as the blocking gap; and the open question of whether remaining shelf life is obtainable, which he wanted answered in May 2024 rather than 2025 because it changes the phase two design. 1–4
He pressed the shelf-life question through the call and the assessment email, asking Priya to find out whether it is exposed outside the WMS. The answer came back in August 2024: captured but not exposed, and Priya declined to raise a change request outside the current phase; Tomas logged it as a phase two dependency and closed the thread (2024-08-22). At the 2024-07-09 handover it was discussed that the assessment listed it only as an open question, not the phase two blocker it actually was; Priya was named nominal owner, but the real owner is whoever runs phase two, which was not appointed. 5, 4, 6–11
At the 2024-07-15 kickoff, DC-2 was put on the watch list from day one with monitoring so it at least fails loudly, and Q1 2025 was held as the core replenishment go-live target with master data flagged explicitly as the dependency and a review point. Tomas requested environment access for two people (Nadia Haddad and Kwame Boateng) by end of month and committed to send their details over; Priya said she would raise the tickets, which take about two weeks, and asked him to send the names today, to which he said "Will do". 12–29
At the 2025-03-18 hypercare review Tomas corrected his own earlier recommendation, saying the file size check he had proposed at cutover would not have caught either failure, that the premise was wrong, and that he withdrew it; it remained in the cutover pack, runbook and hypercare plan, and he said the replacement (something that looks inside the file) was not available to him at that time, with Priya noting the size check would be kept in the meantime. In the 2026-03-17 bakery workshop he proposed splitting the day forecast on a fixed profile per store and category derived from historical hourly sales, explicitly stating it is not a true intraday forecast; Nadia recorded the agreement as day-level forecast plus fixed intraday profile, no intraday forecast, and the question of who re-derives the profile was left on the open items list with no owner. 30–49
Recommendation: in the next conversation with Tomas, ask for the status of the file-content check that is to replace the withdrawn size check (he had no replacement as of 2025-03-18 and the size check remained in place in the meantime), and confirm who owns re-deriving the bakery intraday profile, which was deliberately left unowned on the open items list on 2026-03-17. Also confirm whether the phase two dependency list item for the shelf-life/arrival-date exposure ever gained the date and owner requested at the 2024-07-09 handover, since the phase two owner was then not appointed and no later record in the supplied evidence closes it. 35, 36, 43–46, 50, 9–11

He is back and says it is captured but not exposed. Getting it out means either an extract that nobody owns, or writing it back into SAP, which is a change request. I will not be raising a change request for something that is not in the current phase.Open source

Priya, Assessment written up as promised. Four conclusions. ECC 6.0 is fine and we have no concerns about the nightly batch for daily replenishment. DC-2 goes in as a named risk. Out of support middleware, intermittent failure, silent mode. We will design monitoring around it from day one rather than assume it works. Master data needs a remediation workstream owned on your side. Case pack quantity is the blocking gap. The open question from our call: is remaining shelf life obtainable? You said the total sits on the article and the arrival date is in the warehouse system. Could you find out whether that is exposed outside the WMS? It changes the phase two design and I would rather know in May 2024 than in 2025. Med vänliga hälsningar,Open source

right Priya nominally. But she has told Tomas twice twice that she will not raise a change request for something outside the current phase, and she is right, so the real owner is whoever runs phase two.Open source
